• Prior anaphylaxis or systemic allergic reaction to COVID-19 vaccine • Prior anaphylaxis or systemic allergic reaction to a component of the COVID-19 vaccine • Prior clotting episode with concomitant thrombocytopenia following the 1st dose of AstraZeneca, or Janssen vaccine • History of previous episode of Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and thrombosis (HITT or HIT type 2) - AstraZeneca or Janssen vaccine are contraindicated |
• Prior non-systemic allergic reaction (such as urticaria or rash) to 1st COVID-19 vaccination • Prior non-systemic allergic reaction (such as urticaria or rash) to a component of the vaccine, including PEG or polysorbate 80 • History of anaphylaxis to any etiology |
• Previous non-systemic allegic reaction (such as urticaria or rash) to a food, insect sting, pet, vaccines, and most medicines • Family history of allergies |
Actions - Do not vaccinate - Discuss with allergy specialist and consider other vaccine alternative |
Actions - Discuss with allergy specialist - Consider observation for 30 minutes if vaccination proceeds |
Actions - Proceed with vaccinations as normal (observation for 15 minutes) |
